Setup: You have SCCM 2012 deployed in Forest Alfa but you want to discover machines in forest Beta.
Problem: You supply alternative credentials with the correct username and password for forest Beta but kept getting back a error – 0x8007052E – “Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.”
Solution: Use fqdn of Beta forest in LDAP query:
LDAP://fqdn.of.Beta.forest.com/DC=beta,DC=local
